“Khepri” - a word derived from the Egyptian language, symbolizes the act of transformation or rebirth, allowing an element or force of nature to “come into being” or “change”.

 With this in mind, Khepri Kulture is Crop Over’s newest and vibiest masquerade band. The band is managed by some of Barbados’s most influential young professionals and markets to young professionals between the ages of 18-35years.

Our mission is to create a unique way of life, practicing a certain set of values which will heavily impact and change a Kadooment’s band approach to Crop Over by putting the masqueraders first, the experience second and everything else, third.

Media Accreditation

The following person(s) may be eligible to receive media passes:

Print and Electronic Media Representatives.

You may be asked to submit originals of two (2) by-lined articles from the past four (4) months and a copy of the publication.

Radio and TV Media Representatives.

You may be asked to submit two recordings of reports from the past four (4) months.

Photographers and Videographers.

You may be asked to submit photos and (or) footage with credits of the client company.

Online media must meet the following requirements:

  • The web publication must belong to a registered media organization, with a verifiable non-web address and telephone number.
  • The online journal must have a substantial amount of original news content, commentary or analysis on news worthy events.
  • Applicants must have an established record of having written news pieces. You may be asked for copies of recently published articles with your by-line.
  • These samples must be unaltered clippings or media content from a recognized organization.
  • All applications will be vetted by Khepri Kulture before approval.
